حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنِ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا عَنْ ظُرُوفِ النَّبِيذِ فَقَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَمَّا زُفِّتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ قَالَ وَقَالَ لِي نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هُوَ الْمُقَيَّرُ.
English Translation
Aswad ibn Amir told us, Zuhayr told us, from al-Mukhtar ibn Fulful, who said: I asked Anas about the containers for date-wine, and he said, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade whatever had been coated with pitch." He said: And the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me, "It is the tarred vessel."
