English Translation
Yunus narrated to us: Hammad—that is, ibn Zayd—narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas: that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, called for water in a wide, shallow vessel. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, placed his fingers in the vessel, and the water began to gush forth, and the people began to perform ablution from it, and it came out from between his fingers. He said: And the people performed ablution. He said: So I estimated the people, and they were between seventy and eighty.
