حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُعَاذُ بْنُ حَرْمَلَةَ الْأَزْدِيُّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يُمْطَرَ النَّاسُ مَطَرًا عَامًّا وَلَا تَنْبُتَ الْأَرْضُ شَيْئًا.
English Translation
Zayd ibn al-Hubab narrated to us, saying: Husayn ibn Waqid narrated to me: Mu'adh ibn Harmala al-Azdi narrated to me, who said: I heard Anas say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The Hour will not come until people are rained upon with widespread rain, yet the earth will grow nothing."
