English Translation
Anas ibn Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "On the Night Journey, I passed by people whose lips were being cut with scissors of fire. I asked: Who are these? They said: Preachers from the people of this world who used to command people to do good but forgot themselves, while they recited the Scripture. Do they not reason?"
