حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِمُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ أَسَمِعْتَ أَنَسًا يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلنُّعْمَانِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ نَعَمْ.
English Translation
Waki' narrated to us: Shu'bah narrated to us, who said: I said to Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, "Did you hear Anas say that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to al-Nu'man ibn Muqarrin, 'The nephew of a people belongs to them'?" He said, "Yes."
