حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُضَحِّي بِكَبْشَيْنِ أَقْرَنَيْنِ أَمْلَحَيْنِ وَكَانَ يُسَمِّي وَيُكَبِّرُ وَلَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِيَدِهِ وَاضِعًا عَلَى صِفَاحِهِمَا قَدَمَهُ.
English Translation
Hushaym told us, Shu'bah informed us, from Qatadah, Anas ibn Malik told us, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to sacrifice two horned rams that were black-and-white, and he would say Allah's name and say "Allahu akbar." I indeed saw him slaughter them with his own hand, placing his foot on their sides.
