حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَنْتَ تَخْلُقُهُ أَنْتَ تَرْزُقُهُ فَأَقْرِرْهُ مَقَرَّهُ فَإِنَّمَا كَانَ قَدَرٌ.
English Translation
Affan told us, Hammam told us, he said: Qatadah informed us, from al-Hasan, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You created him, You provide for him; so let him remain in his place, for it was only decree."
