Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُوَاصِلُ مِنْ السَّحَرِ إِلَى السَّحَرِ.
English Translation
It was narrated from Muhammad bin `Hadrat Ali, from `Hadrat Ali (may Allah be well pleased with him), that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to fast continually from pre-dawn to pre-dawn.
