حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ أَوْ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ قَدِمْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَصْرُخُ بِالْحَجِّ صُرَاخًا فَلَمَّا طُفْنَا بِالْبَيْتِ قَالَ اجْعَلُوهَا عُمْرَةً فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ التَّرْوِيَةِ أَحْرَمْنَا بِالْحَجِّ.
English Translation
Affan narrated to us: Wuhayb narrated to us: Dawud narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id, or from Jabir ibn Abdullah, he said: "We came with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, crying out loudly for Hajj. When we had circled the House, he said, 'Make it an Umrah.' Then, on the day of Tarwiyah, we entered the state of ihram for Hajj."
