حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبْرِدُوا بِالظُّهْرِ فِي الْحَرِّ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَوْحِ جَهَنَّمَ هَكَذَا قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ مِنْ فَوْحِ جَهَنَّمَ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Ubayd told us: al-A'mash told us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Delay the noon prayer until it cools in the heat, for the intensity of the heat is from the exhalation of Hell" - al-A'mash said it this way: "from the exhalation of Hell."
