English Translation
Yunus narrated to us, Layth narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Abu al-Nadr, that Abu Sa'id al-Khudri was complaining of pain in his leg, and his brother came in to see him while he had placed one of his legs over the other, lying down, so he struck him on his aching leg with his hand, causing him pain. He said: "You have hurt me! Did you not know my leg was in pain?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then what made you do that?" He said: "Did you not hear that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade this?"
