حَدَّثَنَا الْمُطَّلِبُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ النَّاسَ لَمْ يَشْكُرْ اللَّهَ.
English Translation
al-Muttalib ibn Ziyad told us, Ibn Abi Layla told us, from 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever does not thank people has not thanked Allah."
