حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِىَّ قَالَ نَزَلَ أَهْلُ قُرَيْظَةَ عَلَى حُكْمِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ قَالَ فَأَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى سَعْدٍ فَأَتَاهُ عَلَى حِمَارٍ قَالَ فَلَمَّا دَنَا قَرِيبًا مِنْ الْمَسْجِدِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُومُوا إِلَى سَيِّدِكُمْ أَوْ خَيْرِكُمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ هَؤُلَاءِ نَزَلُوا عَلَى حُكْمِكَ قَالَ تُقْتَلُ مُقَاتِلَتُهُمْ وَتُسْبَى ذَرَارِيُّهُمْ قَالَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَقَدْ قَضَيْتَ بِحُكْمِ اللَّهِ وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ قَضَيْتَ بِحُكْمِ الْمَلِكِ.
English Translation
Muhammad told us, Shu'bah told us, from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim, from Abu Umamah ibn Sahl, who said: I heard Abu Sa'id al-Khudri say: "The people of Qurayzah came down on the judgment of Sa'd ibn Mu'adh. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent for Sa'd, and he came to him on a donkey. When he drew near the mosque, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Stand up for your master,' or 'your best one.' Then he said: 'These people have come down on your judgment.' He said: 'Their fighting men are to be killed and their offspring taken captive.'" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You have judged with the judgment of Allah" — and sometimes he said, "with the judgment of the King."
