حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَكْتُبُوا عَنِّي شَيْئًا سِوَى الْقُرْآنِ وَمَنْ كَتَبَ شَيْئًا سِوَى الْقُرْآنِ فَلْيَمْحُهُ.
English Translation
Isma'il told us, Hammam ibn Yahya informed us, from Zayd ibn Aslam, from Ata' ibn Yasar, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not write anything from me except the Qur'an, and whoever has written anything else from me, let him erase it."
