English Translation
Sufyan ibn Uyaynah told us, from al-Zuhri, from Ata' ibn Yazid al-Laythi, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade two manners of dress and two kinds of sale. As for the two sales: the touch-sale and the throw-sale; and the two manners of dress: wrapping oneself completely in a single garment leaving no opening for the hands, and sitting with the garment drawn around the knees and back in a single garment with nothing covering the private parts.
