حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي أُحُدًا ذَهَبًا يَمُرُّ بِي ثَالِثَةٌ عِنْدِي مِنْهُ دِينَارٌ إِلَّا شَيْءٌ أُعِدُّهُ لِغَرِيمٍ.
English Translation
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'I would not like to have (the mountain of) Uhud in gold, and for three days to pass while I still have a single dinar from it, except something I set aside for a debt.'
