English Translation
Yazid told us: Muhammad informed us, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When one of you leads the people in prayer, let him lighten it, for among those behind him are the weak, the elderly, and those with pressing needs. But when he prays alone, let him lengthen it as he wishes."
