حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ سَبَبْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ زَكَاةً وَرَحْمَةً.
English Translation
Ibn Numayr told us: al-A'mash informed us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I am only a human being, so any Muslim whom I have cursed, or reviled, or struck, make that for him a purification and a mercy."
