Arabic (Original)
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ هَذَا نَهَى عَنْ الْوِصَالِ قَالُوا إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ إِنِّي لَيْسَ مِثْلَكُمْ إِنِّي أَظَلُّ عِنْدَ رَبِّي يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِي اكْلَفُوا مِنْ الْأَعْمَالِ مَا تُطِيقُونَ.
English Translation
With the same chain of narration: He forbade continuous fasting [without breaking it at night]. They said: "But you continue to fast without breaking it." He said: "I am not like you; I remain with my Lord, and He feeds me and gives me drink. So take on of deeds only what you are able to bear."
