حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَصُومُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا وَقَبْلَهُ يَوْمٌ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ يَوْمٌ.
English Translation
Ibn Numayr told us: al-A'mash told us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not single out Friday for fasting unless you also fast a day before it or a day after it."
