حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ عَفَّانُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ حَمَلْتُكَ عَلَى الْخَيْلِ وَالْإِبِلِ وَزَوَّجْتُكَ النِّسَاءَ وَجَعَلْتُكَ تَرْبَعُ وَتَرْأَسُ فَأَيْنَ شُكْرُ ذَلِكَ.
English Translation
Bahz and 'Affan told us, they said: Hammad told us — 'Affan said in his narration: Ishaq ibn 'Abdullah informed us, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says" — 'Affan said: "on the Day of Resurrection" — "'O son of Adam, I carried you upon horses and camels, married you to women, and made you take charge and lead; so where is the gratitude for that?'"
