English Translation

Anas ibn Malik said: A man said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We were in a house where our numbers were many and our wealth was abundant. Then we moved to another house where our numbers decreased and our wealth diminished.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Leave it, or stay in it, as it is blameworthy [to attribute it to the house].' Abu Abdullah [al-Bukhari] said: 'There is some question about its chain.'
