704/911عن عبد الله[ هو ابن مسعود]، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" عرضت علي الأمم بالموسم أيام الحج، فأعجبني كثرة أمتي؛ قد ملأوا السهل والجبل. قالوا: يا محمد! أرضيت؟ قال: نعم، أي ربّ! قال: فإن مع هؤلاء سبعين ألفاً يدخلون الجنة بغير حساب، وهم الذين لا يسترقون ولا يكتوون، ولا يتطيرون، وعلى ربهم يتوكلون". قال عكاشة: فادع الله أن يجعلني منهم. قال:"اللهم اجعله منهم". فقال رجل آخر: ادع الله أن يجعلني منهم. قال:"سبقك بها عُكّاشة".
English Translation
Abdullah [ibn Mas'ud] reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) who said: 'The nations were presented to me at the gathering [on the day of Hajj], and I was amazed at the great number of my Ummah — they filled the plains and the mountains. They said: O Muhammad! Are you pleased? He said: Yes, O Lord! He said: Along with these are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without reckoning. They are those who do not seek ruqyah [incantation], do not cauterize, do not believe in omens, and they rely upon their Lord.' Ukkasha said: 'Supplicate to Allah to make me one of them.' He said: 'O Allah, make him one of them.' Then another man said: 'Supplicate to Allah to make me one of them.' He said: 'Ukkasha has preceded you in that.'
