35/49(صحيح)عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، أَنَّ أعرابيا عرض لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَسِيرِهِ، فَقَالَ: أَخْبِرْنِي مَا يُقَرِّبُنِي مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَيُبَاعِدُنِي مِنَ النَّارِ؟ قَالَ:"تَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكْ بِهِ شَيْئًا، وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ، وتؤتي الزكاة، وتصل الرحم".
English Translation
Aishah, may Allah be pleased with her, reported: A woman came to me with two of her daughters, asking for charity, but she found nothing with me except a single date. I gave it to her, and she divided it between her two daughters and did not eat any of it. Then she got up and left. When the Prophet, peace be upon him, came, I told him about it, and he said: 'Whoever is tested with something from these daughters and treats them well, they will be a shield for him from the Fire.'
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو ایوب انصاری رضی اﷲ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبیصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سفر میں ایک اعرابی آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سامنے آ گیا اور اس نے عرض کیا، آپ مجھے ایسا عمل بتائیے جو مجھے جنت سے قریب اور جہنم سے دور کر دے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اﷲ کی عبادت کرو، اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ بناؤ، نماز قائم کرو، زکوٰۃ ادا کرو اور رشتہ داری کو ملاؤ۔“[صحيح الادب المفرد/حدیث: 35]
