Arabic (Original)
30/39(صحيح)عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! إِنَّ أُمِّي تُوُفِّيَتْ وَلَمْ تُوصِ، أَفَيَنْفَعُهَا أَنْ أَتَصَدَّقَ عَنْهَا؟ قَالَ:"نَعَمْ".
English Translation
Al-Miqdam, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'No one has ever eaten food better than that which he earned from the work of his own hands. The Prophet of Allah, Dawud, peace be upon him, used to eat from the work of his own hands.'
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اﷲ عنہما سے مروی ہے، کہ ایک شخص نے کہا: یا رسول اﷲ! میری والدہ کا انتقال ہو گیا اور انہوں نے کوئی وصیت نہیں کی۔ کیا اگر میں ان کی طرف سے صدقہ کروں تو ان کو فائدہ پہنچے گا؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”ہاں۔“[صحيح الادب المفرد/حدیث: 30]
