حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَوَضَّأُ نَحْنُ وَالنِّسَاءُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ نُدْلِي فِيهِ أَيْدِيَنَا .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates: During the blessed era of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), we (men) and women would perform ablution from a single vessel, all putting our hands into it.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے عہدِ مبارک میں ہم اور عورتیں مل کر ایک ہی برتن سے وضو کرتے اور ہم اپنے ہاتھ اس میں باری باری ڈالتے تھے۔
