Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا صَلَّى أَحَدُكُمْ لِلنَّاسِ فَلْيُخَفِّفْ فَإِنَّ فِيهِمُ السَّقِيمَ وَالشَّيْخَ الْكَبِيرَ وَذَا الْحَاجَةِ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'When one of you leads people in prayer, he should keep it light, for among them are the sick, the very elderly, and those with needs.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائے تو ہلکی رکھے، کیونکہ ان میں بیمار، بہت بوڑھا اور حاجت والا ہوتا ہے۔
