Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا كَبَّرَ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ بِهِمَا فُرُوعَ أُذُنَيْهِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Malik ibn al-Huwayrath (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates: 'I saw the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) — when he said the takbir, when he bowed, and when he raised his blessed head from bowing — he would raise his blessed hands until they reached the level of his ears.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت مالک بن حُویرث رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں: میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ جب تکبیر فرماتے، جب رکوع فرماتے اور جب رکوع سے سرِ اقدس اٹھاتے تو ہاتھ مبارک بلند فرماتے یہاں تک کہ وہ کانوں کی بلندی تک پہنچتے۔
