حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَنْجُسُ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَقَفَهُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'When the water amounts to two qullahs, it does not become impure.' Abu Dawud states: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated this tradition from Asim as a mawquf report (without attributing it to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)).
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب پانی دو قُلّوں کے برابر ہو تو وہ ناپاک نہیں ہوتا۔ حضرت ابوداؤد فرماتے ہیں: حماد بن زید نے اسے عاصم سے موقوفاً (بغیر نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی طرف نسبت کیے) روایت کیا ہے۔
