حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ - عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ طَحْلاَءَ - عَنْ مُحْصِنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ رَاحَ فَوَجَدَ النَّاسَ قَدْ صَلَّوْا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ مِثْلَ أَجْرِ مَنْ صَلاَّهَا وَحَضَرَهَا لاَ يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِمْ شَيْئًا " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever performs ablution well and then comes (to the mosque) and finds the people have already prayed, Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, will give him the same reward as the one who prayed and attended it — without diminishing anything from their reward.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص اچھی طرح وضو کرے پھر (مسجد) آئے اور لوگ نماز پڑھ چکے ہوں، تو اللہ عزوجل اسے اتنا ہی اجر عطا فرمائے گا جتنا اس شخص کو ملا جس نے نماز پڑھی اور اس میں حاضر ہوا — اور ان کے اجر میں سے کچھ بھی کم نہیں ہوگا۔
