حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطُّفَاوِيُّ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، - يَعْنِي ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ - فِي قَوْلِهِ { خُذِ الْعَفْوَ } قَالَ أُمِرَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَأْخُذَ الْعَفْوَ مِنْ أَخْلاَقِ النَّاسِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates, explaining the Qur'anic verse 'Hold to forgiveness (Khudh al-Afw)': The Noble the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was commanded to show forgiveness in dealing with people's character and manners.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت زبیر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے اللہ تعالیٰ کے فرمان «خُذِ الْعَفْوَ» (عفو و درگزر اختیار کرو) کی تفسیر کے سلسلے میں روایت ہے، وہ فرماتے ہیں: اللہ تعالیٰ کے نبی صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو حکم دیا گیا کہ لوگوں کے اخلاق میں عفو و درگزر اختیار فرمائیں۔
