حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، - قَالَ أَحْمَدُ هُوَ يَعْنِي عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ - عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ نَاسًا أَغَارُوا عَلَى إِبِلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَاسْتَاقُوهَا وَارْتَدُّوا عَنِ الإِسْلاَمِ وَقَتَلُوا رَاعِيَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُؤْمِنًا فَبَعَثَ فِي آثَارِهِمْ فَأُخِذُوا فَقَطَعَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ وَأَرْجُلَهُمْ وَسَمَلَ أَعْيُنَهُمْ . قَالَ وَنَزَلَتْ فِيهِمْ آيَةُ الْمُحَارَبَةِ وَهُمُ الَّذِينَ أَخْبَرَ عَنْهُمْ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْحَجَّاجَ حِينَ سَأَلَهُ .
English Translation
It is narrated by Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar that Some people raided the camels of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), drove them off, and apostatised. They killed the herdsman of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) who was a believer. He (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) sent (people) in pursuit of them and they were caught. He had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes put out. The verse regarding fighting against Allah and His the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ((blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)) was then revealed. These were the people about whom Hadrat Anas ibn Malik informed al-Hajjaj when he asked him
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ کچھ لوگوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے اونٹوں کو لوٹ کر انہیں ہنکا لے گئے، اسلام سے مرتد ہو گئے، اور آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے مومن چرواہے کو قتل کر دیا، تو آپ نے ان کے تعاقب میں کچھ لوگوں کو بھیجا، وہ پکڑے گئے، تو آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ان کے ہاتھ اور پیر کاٹ دیئے گئے، اور ان کی آنکھوں پر گرم سلائیاں پھیر دیں، انہیں لوگوں کے متعلق آیت محاربہ نازل ہوئی، اور انہیں لوگوں کے متعلق حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے حجاج کو خبر دی تھی جس وقت اس نے آپ سے پوچھا تھا۔
