Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، - فِي آخَرِينَ - قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، نَحْوَهُ وَالأَوَّلُ أَشْبَعُ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) saw two yellow garments of silk on me and stated: Did your mother command you to wear these? I submitted: Shall I wash them? He stated: No, rather burn them.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن حضرت عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے مجھ پر ریشم کے دو زرد کپڑے دیکھے تو ارشاد فرمایا: کیا تمہاری ماں نے تمہیں یہ پہننے کا کہا ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا: کیا میں ان کو دھو ڈالوں؟ آپ نے ارشاد فرمایا: نہیں، بلکہ انہیں جلا دو۔
