حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ كَانَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُحَدِّثُنَا عَنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ مَا يَقُومُ إِلاَّ إِلَى عُظْمِ صَلاَةٍ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would narrate to us accounts of the Children of Israel until morning came; he would only rise for the obligatory prayer.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ہمیں بنی اسرائیل کے واقعات اتنے بیان فرماتے کہ صبح ہو جاتی، اور آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم صرف فرض نماز ہی کے لیے تشریف لے جاتے۔
