حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ مِنْ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ لأُنَاسًا مَا هُمْ بِأَنْبِيَاءَ وَلاَ شُهَدَاءَ يَغْبِطُهُمُ الأَنْبِيَاءُ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِمَكَانِهِمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى " . قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُخْبِرُنَا مَنْ هُمْ . قَالَ " هُمْ قَوْمٌ تَحَابُّوا بِرُوحِ اللَّهِ عَلَى غَيْرِ أَرْحَامٍ بَيْنَهُمْ وَلاَ أَمْوَالٍ يَتَعَاطَوْنَهَا فَوَاللَّهِ إِنَّ وُجُوهَهُمْ لَنُورٌ وَإِنَّهُمْ عَلَى نُورٍ لاَ يَخَافُونَ إِذَا خَافَ النَّاسُ وَلاَ يَحْزَنُونَ إِذَا حَزِنَ النَّاسُ " . وَقَرَأَ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ { أَلاَ إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاءَ اللَّهِ لاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ } .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him) who said: The Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: Indeed, among the servants of Allah there are people who are neither prophets nor martyrs, yet the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)s and martyrs will envy them on the Day of Resurrection for their position with Allah the Exalted. They submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), tell us who they are. He stated: They are people who loved one another for the sake of Allah's light (religion), without kinship or exchange of wealth between them. By Allah, their faces shall be of light and they shall be upon light. When people are afraid, they shall have no fear, and when people grieve, they shall not grieve. Then he recited the verse: 'Behold! Indeed, the friends of Allah — no fear shall be upon them, nor shall they grieve.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے، فرماتے ہیں: نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: بے شک اللہ کے بندوں میں کچھ ایسے لوگ ہیں جو نہ نبی ہیں نہ شہید، مگر قیامت کے دن اللہ تعالیٰ کے ہاں اُن کے مقام پر انبیاء اور شہداء بھی رشک کریں گے۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہمیں بتائیے وہ کون ہیں؟ ارشاد فرمایا: وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ کے نور (دین) کی محبت میں ایک دوسرے سے محبت رکھی، نہ اُن میں رشتہ داری تھی اور نہ مال (کا لین دین)۔ اللہ کی قسم! بے شک اُن کے چہرے نور ہوں گے اور وہ نور پر ہوں گے، جب لوگ خوفزدہ ہوں گے تو اُنہیں خوف نہ ہوگا اور جب لوگ غمگین ہوں گے تو وہ غمگین نہ ہوں گے۔ پھر آپ نے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی: 'خبردار! بے شک اللہ کے دوستوں پر نہ کوئی خوف ہے اور نہ وہ غمگین ہوں گے۔'
