Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُضَمِّرُ الْخَيْلَ يُسَابِقُ بِهَا .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to condition (train) horses and race them.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبد اللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم گھوڑوں کو دبلا کرتے (تربیت دیتے) اور ان کی دوڑ لگواتے تھے۔
