Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ : " كُلُّ الْمَيِّتِ يُخْتَمُ عَلَى عَمَلِهِ، إِلاَّ الْمُرَابِطَ فَإِنَّهُ يَنْمُو لَهُ عَمَلُهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَيُؤَمَّنُ مِنْ فَتَّانِ الْقَبْرِ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Fadalah ibn Ubayd (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Every deceased person's deeds are sealed at the time of death, except the one guarding the frontier (murabith), for his deeds continue to grow until the Day of Resurrection, and he is protected from the trial of the grave."
Urdu Translation
حضرت فضالہ بن عبید رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "ہر مرنے والے کا عمل اس کی موت پر مہر لگا دی جاتی ہے، سوائے مرابط (سرحد کے پہرے دار) کے، کیونکہ اس کا عمل قیامت کے دن تک بڑھتا رہتا ہے اور اسے قبر کے فتنے سے امان دے دی جاتی ہے۔"
