حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنِ الْحُرِّ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ، عَنْ هُنَيْدَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ، عَنْ بَعْضِ، أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَصُومُ تِسْعَ ذِي الْحِجَّةِ وَيَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ وَثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ أَوَّلَ اثْنَيْنِ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ وَالْخَمِيسَ .
English Translation
Hunaidah ibn Khalid narrates from his wife, who narrates from one of the blessed wives of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who said: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) would fast the nine days of Dhul-Hijjah (the first nine days), the Day of Ashura, and three days from every month — the first Monday of the month and two Thursdays.
Urdu Translation
ہنیدہ بن خالد اپنی بیوی سے روایت کرتے ہیں جو نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی ازواج مطہرات میں سے کسی ایک سے روایت کرتی ہیں کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ذوالحجہ کے نو دن (پہلے نو دن) کا روزہ، عاشوراء کے دن کا روزہ، اور ہر مہینے میں تین دن کا روزہ رکھتے تھے — مہینے کا پہلا پیر اور دو جمعرات۔
