Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، وَحَبِيبٌ، وَهِشَامٌ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَكَلْتُ وَشَرِبْتُ نَاسِيًا وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ . فَقَالَ " أَطْعَمَكَ اللَّهُ وَسَقَاكَ " .
English Translation
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be well pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and submitted: O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)! I ate and drank out of forgetfulness while I was fasting. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Allah fed you and gave you drink."
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی بارگاہ میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں نے بھول کر کھا پی لیا حالانکہ میں روزے سے تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: "اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہیں کھلایا اور پلایا ہے۔"
