حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ رَوَاهُ وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ . وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ وَهِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ مِثْلَهُ .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had himself cupped while he was fasting. Abu Dawud (upon him be mercy) said: Wuhayb ibn Khalid also narrated it from Ayyub with the same chain, in the same manner. And Ja'far ibn Rabi'ah and Hisham ibn Hassan narrated it from Ikrimah, from Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both), in the same manner.
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسولِ کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے روزے کی حالت میں پچھنے لگوائے۔ حضرت ابوداؤد رحمۃ اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں: اسے وہیب بن خالد نے بھی ایوب سے اسی سند کے ساتھ اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے۔ اور جعفر بن ربیعہ اور ہشام بن حسّان نے عکرمہ سے، انہوں نے حضرت ابنِ عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے اسی طرح روایت کیا ہے۔
