حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ سَهْلٍ أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الرَّمْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ كَانَ آخِرُ الأَمْرَيْنِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم تَرْكَ الْوُضُوءِ مِمَّا غَيَّرَتِ النَّارُ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ هَذَا اخْتِصَارٌ مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ الأَوَّلِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the last practice of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was that he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not perform ablution after eating food cooked over fire. Abu Dawud states: This is an abridgment of the preceding tradition.
Urdu Translation
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا آخری عمل یہ تھا کہ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم آگ کی پکی ہوئی چیز تناول فرمانے کے بعد (دوبارہ) وضو نہیں فرماتے تھے۔ حضرت ابوداؤد فرماتے ہیں: یہ پہلی حدیث کا اختصار ہے۔
