Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " خَمْسٌ قَتْلُهُنَّ حَلاَلٌ فِي الْحَرَمِ الْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) graciously stated: There are five creatures the killing of which is lawful even in the sacred territory: the snake, the scorpion, the kite, the mouse, and the biting dog.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: پانچ جانور ایسے ہیں جنہیں حرم میں بھی مارنا حلال ہے: سانپ، بچھو، چیل، چوہیا اور کاٹنے والا کتا۔
