حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَلأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ وَلأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا وَبَلَغَنِي أَنَّهُ وَقَّتَ لأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ .
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) designated Dhul-Hulayfah as the miqat for the people of Madinah, al-Juhfah for the people of Syria, and Qarn (al-Manazil) for the people of Najd. And it has reached me that he designated Yalamlam for the people of Yemen.
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے، فرماتے ہیں: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اہلِ مدینہ کے لیے ذو الحلیفہ، اہلِ شام کے لیے جحفہ، اور اہلِ نجد کے لیے قرن (المنازل) میقات مقرر فرمایا۔ اور مجھے یہ بات پہنچی ہے کہ آپ نے اہلِ یمن کے لیے یلملم میقات مقرر فرمایا۔
