حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ زَبَّانَ بْنِ فَائِدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَمِلَ بِمَا فِيهِ أُلْبِسَ وَالِدَاهُ تَاجًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ضَوْؤُهُ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ ضَوْءِ الشَّمْسِ فِي بُيُوتِ الدُّنْيَا لَوْ كَانَتْ فِيكُمْ فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِالَّذِي عَمِلَ بِهَذَا " .
English Translation
Hadrat Mu'adh al-Juhani (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates from his father that the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Whoever recites the Qur'an and acts upon what is in it, his parents will be crowned on the Day of Resurrection with a crown whose light is more beautiful than the light of the sun in the houses of this world, were it among you. So what do you think of the one who himself acted upon it?'
Urdu Translation
حضرت معاذ جہنی (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے قرآن پڑھا اور اس پر عمل کیا — قیامت کے دن اس کے والدین کو ایسا تاج پہنایا جائے گا جس کی روشنی دنیا کے گھروں میں سورج کی روشنی سے بہتر ہوگی — اگر وہ تمہارے اندر ہو — تو تمہارا اس شخص کے بارے میں کیا گمان ہے جس نے خود اس پر عمل کیا۔
