حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَارِقِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'The prayer of night and day is two by two (mathna mathna).'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما) سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: رات اور دن کی نماز دو دو (رکعت) ہے۔
