Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ، وَمَسْرُوقٍ، قَالاَ نَشْهَدُ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ - رضى الله عنها - أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ يَأْتِي عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلاَّ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Al-Aswad and Masruq (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: 'We bear witness about Umm al-Mu'minin Hadrat Aisha Siddiqah (may Allah be well pleased with her) that she said: "Not a day would come upon the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) except that he would pray two rak'ahs after 'Asr."'
Urdu Translation
اسود اور مسروق فرماتے ہیں: ہم حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا) پر گواہی دیتے ہیں — فرمایا: کوئی دن ایسا نہیں آتا تھا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم عصر کے بعد دو رکعتیں نہ پڑھیں۔
