حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " يَحْضُرُ الْجُمُعَةَ ثَلاَثَةُ نَفَرٍ رَجُلٌ حَضَرَهَا يَلْغُو وَهُوَ حَظُّهُ مِنْهَا وَرَجُلٌ حَضَرَهَا يَدْعُو فَهُوَ رَجُلٌ دَعَا اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِنْ شَاءَ أَعْطَاهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ مَنَعَهُ وَرَجُلٌ حَضَرَهَا بِإِنْصَاتٍ وَسُكُوتٍ وَلَمْ يَتَخَطَّ رَقَبَةَ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُؤْذِ أَحَدًا فَهِيَ كَفَّارَةٌ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا وَزِيَادَةُ ثَلاَثَةِ أَيَّامٍ وَذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ { مَنْ جَاءَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ فَلَهُ عَشْرُ أَمْثَالِهَا } " .
English Translation
Hadrat Abdullah ibn 'Amr (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates from the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), who said: 'Three types of people attend Friday. First, a man who attends and engages in idle talk — that is his share from it. Second, a man who attends and makes du'a — he is a man who has asked Allah the Almighty; if He wills, He grants him, and if He wills, He withholds. Third, a man who attends with silence and stillness, does not step over the neck of a Muslim, and does not harm anyone — this is an expiation (of sins) from that Friday to the next, plus three extra days. This is because Allah the Almighty says: "Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof."'
Urdu Translation
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما) نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں: آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: جمعے میں تین طرح کے لوگ حاضر ہوتے ہیں — ایک وہ جو لغو (فضول بات) میں لگا رہے تو یہی اس کا حصہ ہے — دوسرا وہ جو دعا کرتا رہے تو وہ ایسا شخص ہے جس نے اللہ عزّ وجل سے مانگا — اگر چاہے عطا کرے اور اگر چاہے نہ دے — تیسرا وہ جو خاموشی اور سکوت سے حاضر ہو، کسی مسلمان کی گردن نہ پھاندے اور کسی کو تکلیف نہ دے — تو یہ اس جمعے سے اگلے جمعے تک اور تین دن مزید کفّارہ ہے — اور یہ اس لیے کہ اللہ عزّ وجل فرماتا ہے: مَنْ جَآءَ بِالْحَسَنَۃِ فَلَہٗ عَشْرُ اَمْثَالِھَا (جو نیکی لائے اسے دس گنا ملے)۔
