Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ خَبَّرَنَا عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِي يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ وَأَصَابَهُمْ مَطَرٌ لَمْ تَبْتَلَّ أَسْفَلُ نِعَالِهِمْ فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُصَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِهِمْ .
English Translation
Abu al-Malih narrates from his father (may Allah be well pleased with him) that he was present with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) at the time of Hudaybiyyah on a Friday. Rain fell upon them, yet it did not even wet the bottoms of their sandals. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ordered them to pray in their camps.
Urdu Translation
ابوالملیح اپنے والد (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ وہ صُلح حدیبیہ کے زمانے میں جمعے کے دن نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ حاضر تھے — بارش ہوئی (مگر اتنی کم کہ) ان کے جوتوں کے تلے بھی نہیں بھیگے — آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے انہیں حکم دیا کہ اپنے ٹھکانوں میں نماز پڑھ لیں۔
