حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رِزْمَةَ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَمَّى سَجْدَتَىِ السَّهْوِ الْمُرْغِمَتَيْنِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrates that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called the two prostrations of forgetfulness 'al-Murghamatain' (the two humiliators of Shaytan).
Urdu Translation
حضرت ابنِ عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے سہو کے دونوں سجدوں کو 'مُرغِمَتَین' (شیطان کو ذلیل کرنے والے) نام دیا۔
