نا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , أَنَّهُ" كَانَيَقْرَأُ: مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الأَوَّلِينَ".
Ibrahim al-Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite: 'from those who have the first claim upon them.'
نا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، أَنَّهُ" كَانَيَقْرَأُ: وَلا نَكْتُمُ شَهَادَةً إِنَّا إِذًا لَمِنَ الآثِمِ...
Al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite: 'And we will not conceal testimony; indeed, we would then be among the sinful.'
نا نا هُشَيْمٌ , قَالَ: نا مُحَمَّدٌ مَوْلَى قُرَيْشٍ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْعَلِيٍّرَضِي اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّهُ" كَانَيَقْرَأ...
'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite the word as 'tastaTi'a' (you are able).
نا هُشَيْمٌ , قَالَ: نا حُصَيْنٌ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ, مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.

Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to recite: 'hal tastaTi'u Rabbaka' (can you ask your Lord).
نا هُشَيْمٌ قَالَ: نا عَوْفٌ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، أَنَّهُ" كَانَيَقْرَأُ: هَلْ يَسْتَطِيعُ سورة المائدة آية 112",
Al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) used to recite: 'hal yastaTi'u' (is He able) (5:112).
نا هُشَيْمٌ , قَالَ: نا مُغِيرَةُ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ , قَالَ:" كَانَ أَصْحَابُنَا يَقْرَءُونَ كَذَلِكَ".
